Massachusetts General Hospital is a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School and Founding Member, Mass General Brigham. The Division of Cardiac Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a full-time academic board certified/board eligible or foreign equivalent cardiac surgeon.
Surgeons of all levels of experience will be considered. Subspecialty interest in valve surgery including minimally invasive and robotic approaches is desirable. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated academic productivity in basic science, clinical outcomes research or device design and innovation. Prerequisites include a commitment to the educational mission and an attitude of teamwork and collaboration within the Division, across disciplines and across Mass General Brigham sites.
The candidate should also be qualified to be appointed at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level at Harvard Medical School. Salary and academic appointment will be commensurate with training and level of experience.
