The University of Iowa Department of Surgery invites applications for a faculty position within the Division of Plastic Surgery. We are specifically interested in an individual with training and an interest in microsurgery. This position is open rank and may be either tenure or clinical (non-tenure) track dependent upon the qualifications and goals of the individual.
The candidate must be a graduate of an approved medical college with postgraduate training in an accredited Plastic Surgery training program. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Plastic Surgery. Experience in research at a level which enables procurement of outside funding is required for tenure track appointments.
Applicants will need to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills, be committed to ongoing performance improvement and to providing care as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Applicants must also have demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.
